It looks like the man ben green has his own hidden agenda and is determined NOT to give AS dx (whatever reasons he may have - I've heard that in some areas drs are directly instructed not to dx due to lack of funds for services for diagnosed individuals). Maybe he decided on it even before he saw you.

Whatever his reasons are, it does not mean that he is right. Just like everybody else, the man ben green is entitled to his own WRONG opinion.

If you would like to get the third opinion, go for it. Do not go to ANY dr qualified to diagnose, but research first or maybe post message on AS forums asking for referral to someone who is truly concerned with our cause. (I did so when I was going for the eval in January, and chose the dr who himself is a father of an AS child and runs an AS support group.)
