Chatting

I only go to # chat when Sean is there. I use a different handle which he knows. He alerts the other ops to leave me alone.

I basically just lurk and read. Otherwise it is way too busy and fast for me.

I don't generally chat as a personal philosophy, it can get very confusing for me. I have chatted occasionally in groups, but I don't do it very well. I do chat individually on Yahoo IM, that can be good most of the time, because it is only one person or sometimes two at a time, and at least I am able to try to clarify confusions when they occur.

I learned the hard way several months ago, that Delphi forums are not AS friendly for the most part, Yahoo forums are better but still not that great, and I don't post too much personal information anywhere in public anymore, except on my site [and I still do screen most of my information that I include there]. Not worth the hassle.
