Response to I dont think it would hurt |
| its not the pulling action that is the stim. it is the feeling, like picking a scab. the eye infection made the area very sensitive. the eyelash pulling keeps that sensitivity. just as when a scab heals u move on to something else, when the eye area is less sensitive, eyelash pulling will stop. vaseline does stop it. i know someone who uses it as a beauty product for longer thicker healthier eyelashes. hmm obsessive pursuit of beauty common in nt. well I would not put petroleum products on my skin but we have something called KY jelly here which is intended as another type of lubricant. as it is used on a rather sensitive area, it would be fine for eyelashes. it would not go in the eyes as you close your eyes to rub on a tiny amount. it is waterproof so tears will not affect it either. i would think you can get a similar product in usa. you are just not going to eliminate stims and substitutes really have to be chosen by the stimee. maybe offer a choice, and remember that it has to be something that can be done anytime. | |
