son to have "alphabet board" (some keyboards plugs into computers) to write with.
or computer in class for him.
son to get OT.
he agrees to do it.

OT happy. will see him 1X week.
start thursday.
OT says son needs some other helps.
will be in recommendations.
cant recall. she talks fast.
scared on telephone.

said son needs to be exempted
from grade 6 provincial testing.
will tell principal.
it is up to her discretion.
if she wont,
will keep him home.
will not make him go through it.
in grade 3 testing he did a bad thing on 1st day
so to get suspended from school.
dont want him that upset agian.
hope principal agrees
to exemption.
she said about aspergers...
said son can see "medical advisor" to the
place she works "childrens treatment centre".
it is same pediatrician daughter has@!
funny how it goes.
apparently he had taken a "course" on aspergers.
she is sending referral intake forms for daughter.
to get OT and PT assessment!
wow thisOT really does work.
she said some writing program that she will use
writing without tears or something.
asked about brain gym.
she said "recently heard about it somewhere, will look into it, learn about it, will consult with our resident autism specialist OT here to help your son"
she said those words!

this month will be meeting with ped. doc. for son.
couldnt get him in to see one
through developmental servcices.
both kids are still on wait list there.
the lady through developmental services. called.
had called her.
she left message "am returning your call, my contract is over at the end of april, the new woman to contact is so an so.. her ex. is such an such"
gosh have never seen this woman.
now she is gone.
she never came to meet at school. she never did anyting.
dont know what she did there.
the other one we had through there form august, till decembner saw her once.
this one never.
called her even a few times asking to have her come to school to advocate.
nothing.
she is supposed to be the advocate.
this is what the firs woman said.
no. nothing.
this OT is not even supposed to be advocate.

AND she called the school board spec. ed. rep that was at the IPRC meeting.
he discussed son with her. she with him.
he said it was time to have another meeting.
OT said she could call for the meeting.
how nice.
said yes thank you.

the school board rep had said that even if parent didnt sign the IEP the are to implement it.
yah!!
so, the 1 1/2 hours of resource son is supposed to get.
that he has had only one time since feb first week.
haha.
school is silly here.
they are suposed to do it.
principal called.
she said "you are worrying for nothing"

asked her why they couldnt put in th eIEP these words "the school will seek a OT referral, and implement OT recommendatiosn"
that was only thing missing and would have signed it.
principal kept saying "well we didnt get any recommendations yet".
HA what a diversion.
didnt ask for the recommendations. asked for promise inIEP that they will implement them recommendations.,
they wont put it in unless they see what the recommnedations are.
hah.
they will now.
OT is helping. she talked to school board rep.
she is asking principal to excempt son from testing.
principal should do it.
also principal said " well parents recommend all kinds of things" when told her that the OT will be recommending this and this in her report, and they are things that had allreay asked for in the IEP meeting.
hah to her. the principal.
she does not belive that am abel to make recommendations.
am not a dummy.
am aspergers. not a dummy.
she does not respect peopel that do not speak well.
treats lg like am a dummy and do not know what to recoomend for son.
