the school nurse saw me when i went in and told me that Daniel couldnt come back to school without a note from the Dr. That upset me. This same nurse sent him home 2 weeks ago sick...(he was not sick).
Soooooo i was already upset before going in. This was an IEP meeting just to add goals for the comunication device, so there wasnt alot that could go wrong.
However i was going to ask them how i could trust anything they say anymore after witnessing their lieing under oath, but i was so upset about Daniel not being able to go back to school i didnt say anything....
Daniel hasnt missed a day of school till now. There are 3 days left. I guess it just really upsets me that short of an ER visit they wont let him go to school and it messes up his record. The Dr. didnt think he should be seen, but then they (school people) came up with him having to have a note. Called the Dr. back and he never called me back. SIGH...
The school also called later and said I must bring him to school with the note, as they wouldnt send the bus....I said HUH...they said it was standard procedure for the parent to bring a child with the note...so i asked if it was in the handbook. its not. I personally think they didnt want to have to pay the bus driver or they just wanted to give me hell. Probably the latter. Im also wondering if somone just didnt want to take off early for the summer...
But instead of putting him thru the torment of going to the ER for hours i have decided to keep him home tomorrow and then see what the DR. says. And Gerald gets to stay home too and he is thrilled....I take Gerald to school and it would mean hours of tantruming for me to put Daniel in the car simply to take gerald to school and back home so im just keeping them both home.
And i really really really just want to tell them all where to go....LOL I might get that satisfaction depending on the results of the DP hearing on thursday...i have already decided im not sending him for the paltry amount of ESY if the judge decides its appropriate...he will just stay home this summer.
