I am floored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so amazed at my son. We were watching the waltons today, just a few minutes ago and he was looking at pictures I have on the wall. Anyway, he says "I wanna go there"... so I got up from the couch with a baby attached (nursing) and went up to see which picture he was looking at.

He was looking at a picture of himself on a swing that we had in Colorado for the 4 short months we lived just outside Denver when he just turned three. I asked him where it was... Colorado. Ok. I may have told him that. He then says "I heard the train there." I or anyone else told him that we lived close to the train. He then said that "Melissa used to turn on the sprinklers and get me wet on the slide." He is right. I know we have not told him that!!!!!!!!!!

I am so impressed that he could actually recall that. he was so out of it then. He didn't even begin talking untill after age 5. He was almost catatonic at times out there. He also told me that Michelle was a baby and that we took Melissa to the airport and we went to a big outside store. We did, we went to the Mile High Flee Market once.

Have any of you all ever experienced a child remember ancient events that you didn't know they even had any type of thoughts on? I'm amazed. I just can't tell you all how elated this makes me!
