apparently they ONLY give legal aid certificates to those persons who are charged with criminal acts, AND are at risk for going to jail for it.... SO even if was charged with lets say shop lifting, and since do not have a criminal record, it would be a first offense, not send mineself to jail, therefore wouldnt get a legal aid certificate..
apparently even in child custody issues the legal aid certificates are only give in certain circumstances...
am not sure if at all anymore...
it is a very tight system... after the conservative party came into power in the early 90's all this has changed....
cant think of what to do....
except to keep him at home next yr... unless some miracle happens and they decide it is fine to add a few supports into his IEP, and they somehow start to understand some of the behaviours..
