Response to I was at a lecture..

 

I agree with her. i have noticed that the need for occaisional social contact is crippling for me, where autistics can just walk away, no worries. also, the need for social contact, even in a small way, interferes with clarity of thinking. With autism, they can cut to the idea without emotional intrusion. autism has no belonging. it just exist. Asperger is nowhere. there is a need to belong in a small way, and no concept of that construct. Well that is for me. I do not know how it is for others.
