thanks for trying.
They used to sing god save the queen here, but more people wanted waltzing matilda. someone thought that was not suitable for state funerals so now we have a dirge called advance australia fair. i am a waltzing matilda fan myself.

i think saying something because it is said every day might be a cultural difference. they tried to bring in singing the national anthem in schools, but not many were impressed so we dont, unless it is a patriotic occaision. its hard to get out of it. you have to fake or bear the consequences. this is a pity because it teaches children to lie.
