if you cloned your child to fix the autism factor, it would not be your child who was fixed. that is the point that people are missing. your child would still be there, just the same as ever and you would be working with another person, identical, but a separate person. the first person is still there, and what happens to them? And how would they feel being superceded by a "superior" model? eg say your hubby brought home another woman and said he had a new wife. dont worry, i still love you. he then proceeded to give the new model all the best of the attention and care that had been yours, and did not make the same mistakes. i cannot imagine that anyone would smile and accept her with open arms, never mind care for her. well children are no different. i have not seen anyone who has contributed to this discussion considering people and emotion. jeez i am the one who is supposed to be disabled in this area. | |
