I still think you're missing the point

The writer was stating a way to prove her son's autism was caused by vaccine injury. She isn't trying to replace her son, anymore than having a sibling is replacing the first child. She's saying she's so certain vaccines are at issue that she'd clone her child just to prove it. Apparently you don't take that meaning from it.
