Doctors or Drug Pushers?

Yesterday i accompanied an elderly friend with very limited English to the appointment with his cardiologist. While discussing his heart disease, the doc suddenly asked, "would you like to get a flu shot now?" I translated the question, and, must confess, added some info about link of flu shots to Alzheimers. The man said, "no thanks". The dr left and moved on to see his next patient at another cubicle. As we were leaving, i heard him ordering a syringe with a flu shot to be brought there.

Why the heck CARDIOLOGISTs suddenly started administering flu shots??
