mental ability, intelligence, ability to reason or understand , power of thought; while dyslexia, CAPD etc are only learning disabilities, i.e. difficulties processing incoming and outgoing information, but not inability to comprehend. Intellectual disability would constitute mental retardation, and it's totally wrong to equate it with autism.
