Response to By definition, "intellect" is

I'm only quoting what the people who run these schools keep saying when they correct me. They say that autism is an "intellectual disability" because it makes it harder for the child to learn. I almost had a full on argument with one of them. My husband and I went to one autism-specific school to have a look around and see if it would be the right place for our boys. The woman kept going on about them have the appropiate score and putting them down for doing early intervention at a school for disabled children. She said if they were going there then they obviously must have something else wrong with them besides autism. They go there because there is no where else to go. When our little girl was being assessed we were told they couldn't believe how many kids they were seeing now.
