I printed out the state regs. Obviously, they are in violation of all of them since I have been lied to about it.

My choices...
Talk to them....they are all witless liars, though, so they will likely lie to me some more.

Talk to the psychologist. He will assure me that they will stop...but he also assured me that he talked to them and they would not use them.

File a complaint to ISBE. But they will tell them to stop doing it.

File a complaint to Office of Special Education. But, they will contact ISBE and tell them to handle it.

Talk to my state representative. They might call ISBE and tell them to handle it.

The problem is that anytime a school messes up, it makes the state look bad. They don't like to look bad, so they play cover-up too.

There are no checks and balances for our children. They can do anything to them since they are non-verbal. I would have never known if Laura didn't happen to know this student teacher. It is frightening. I hope that what comes around goes around. I hope the whole lot of them wind up non-verbal in a state institution some day with crappy workers that use restraints on them. I know that sounds hateful, but right now, I could care less.
