The Government Reform Committee has about 40 Members. Thus, probably one or more Congressmen/Congresswomen from YOUR STATE are on the committee.
HELP GET REPRESENTATION TO HEAR THE TESTIMONY of scientists and government officials:
Please call Members of Congress from your state, or write them an e-mail, and ASK THEM TO ATTEND THE HEARINGS.
Points to Make:
1) The Burton committee hearings will have expert scientists providing testimony about the extreme health risk of mercury dental fillings;
2) The hearings will allow the FDA to answer questions about why they have covered up the risks of mercury dental fillings for over a decade.
3) The movement to end mercury fillings is a bipartisan one. The two main sponsors of H.R. 4163 to abolish mercury dental fillings in the U.S. are
Diane Watson (D) and Dan Burton (R).
