Consumers Union wrote to Ashcroft.....

11/27/02 Consumers Union wrote a letter to Attorney General John D. Ashcroft, requesting that the Justice Department "immediately" withdraw from asking a federal court to seal documents in cases lawsuits examining links between thimerosal and autism. Consumers Union sent similar letters to Senators McCain, Hatch, Gregg, Grassley, and Shelby, requesting congressional hearings into the issue.
