I wanted to thank you for directing me to your web-site...what a fantastic wealth of info on it! I spend WAY TOO MUCH time on it though! I especially liked the writings that are posted by adults living with autism...really eye-opening and touching.
And thanks for the advice regarding the flashlight (my son stims off of lights and it was getting out of hand) so we bought three small flashlights that we keep handy and when he feels the need to start going at it we give him a flashlight for a couple of minutes. So far it has helped to a certain degree and I'm sure it will get better although I realize that at some point we will have to phase that out too. Or not!
