I heard it's only going to be offered this inaugural year for the 1 series. Then in 2010 for the 2011 model year there's supposed to be a tii version.

Considering my first bimmer or should I just flush money down the toilet? Just kidding BMW guys That or a Honda Accord coupe?

It's certainly not a "value"/$ car but the performance seems really good.

One awesome car......for what it is. IF the tii ever really happens....

it will be the ultimate drivers car.

Ted is correct, for a few K more you can get a 335i. As much as I love the 335, even thought there's only 300 pounds difference, the 135 drives like a much smaller car.

If you need the extra space, go for the 335. If it's exclusively the grin factor, go One!

Would you recommend it (the 135i) for a daily driver?

Yeah, space may be an issue as it'll likely be my only car if I get one. It's not what I'd call "versatile".

Very nice car. I love the styling, the way the "greenhouse" captured the essence...

of the old 2002. It'll perform better than the 3 series as it has the same engine and less weight. Should be hoot, especially the ones I saw with the paddle shifters.
