I took Angel to the vet the other day for his annuals and was told he has cracked teeth (two of them). Boy was I surprised! Cracked teeth???? Angel has had a soft mouth since I've owned him (got him at 3 months) and has never, as far as I know, chewed rocks or hard items so why he has cracked teeth is a mystery.
Now, what does someone do about cracked teeth in dogs? I can't imagine pulling his teefies. The vet recommended a cleaning because he is also working on gum disease, but I'm not too hip on putting him asleep and scraping his teefies. Dogs with gum disease, it MUST be rather common considering what they ear. (Mikki likes poop YUK! I bet poop can give a dog gum disease.) You guys have any thoughts? | |
