a value chart would be nice, mine just has a problem with hills, taking off from a stop,i can get going ,but am taking the cluch with it! the cis did a better job(for now,but expect better when i figure this thing out..
did you do the programming,or have someone with a dyno do it?
I JUST WANT TO GET IT DRIVEABLE TO GET IT TO A DYNO SHOP...
I guess i could get there now,but i want to be more confident..

what did you do with pcv?? it wouldnt run well with it hooked up,but the oil looked like it cam out of a bottle after 1000 miles!!!!
then i finally tried without it,and it runs 100% better, but 100 miles, and the oil is dirty!!!!

I solved this on my vette(with a ford 5.0 with an air pump) i found the suction side of the pump, tapped a fitting, ran it to the pcv,and dumpped the pressure side into the exaust...the oil stays looking like oil, after 2500 miles!

i'm babbling,
e-mailing is best, thanks for any info!
if you want some pics,i can provide some, but all you really notice is "ross machine racing",and some russel hose..I used the factrory cis airbox, got rid of fuel dist, sealed it up,and it doesn't look like a posers car,not that they can catch me to see!

more babblng..

I am a ford efi specialist, not an sds specialist,so I wasn't sure what the map reading should be KOEO,and when i finally got a hold of sds first this monday,i found out it should be @ atm pressure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mine always stayed around 18(i was thinking maybe last running map reading??not the case)!! luckily i had a shop next door that was working on a 90 something camaro, and like most shops threw a map sensor at it,to no avail..bought it from them, and within 1 hour,it was running like a champ!!it was bad out of the box,i wish they didn't use made in hong kong map sensors!
of course i had some re-adjustments to make, but unbelieveable!!
now i dont foul plugs twice a day,and i keep up with those pesky mustang gts!!
not to mention,28 MPG city, and dont have a HWY reading yet,but i am expecting over 35!!
cant wait for a head, and some schrick cams!!

speaking of that, where do i find a trick head for this thing??
I was gonna turbo, but decided on all motor...i think 300-350 is enough, and i think more people would be embaressed by a dirty old gti, that doesnt have any compressors(except the a/c(cant live without, and of the 4 banger!)

I installed an EM4-4F system on my MK3 Jetta 2.0L. I know it's not an MK2, but it's very similar.

Scroll down to see some crappy pics. I will update it once I develop my dozen rolls of film from the turbo install.

We put the SDS on a 1,8T engine, all in a older and ugly "Test" Passat 35i Synchro...

Just working on it, check this:
