I have fuel pressure and spark but injectors are not firing. I've checked all connections, system has been on for 4 yrs and worked well till now. Is this an ECU issue? Any suggestions?

Ok, to figure out if it is an ECU problem, you have to shoot the injector harness. There are 5 wires on the harness. One is +12V switched, which its spliced together to all 4 injectors. Then you have 4 wires that come from the ECU, these are grounds. The ECU closes the circuits by connecting the ground to the injectors, thus energizing them and injecting. You must check if those grounds are actually being closed. Get a multimeter, and chek what is the voltage when you crank the car. check one injector clip at a time. figure which cable is the 12v switched inside the connector first, so you know which ones are the grounds.

Make sure that the +12V switched is giving the correct voltage to all four connectors also, There is an injector ground wire that comes out of the ECU. This one groung wire is the wire the ECU uses to send a ground to all four wires in the harness. Make sure this wire has a good ground.

The device that connect all of these ground inside the ECU is called the injector driver. If the ECU is not grounding the wires correctly, then its probably the driver.

Im having the same exact problem Ive had this system on 3 different engines I ve yet to get this one running.Ive went through the whole troble shooting section with barry checked coil packs etc. Even took the hall sensor off and waved it over the trigger mag to see if I can get the injectors to click nothing Im going to do your test tommorrow felix but im not crossing my fingers.this system came off my running car and was stored for 6 months thats it what would cause this is beyond me but its very frustrating.

I checked grounds and connections. Everything appeirs to be ok. Injectors stop firing or intermitant around 3500 rpm, then seems to pick up again around 4000. At that time fuel pressure spikes up. I don't run the vacuum refrence on regulator, the pressure is set static 55 lbs. I've compared fuel map with other engine and is almost identical, if anything I've tried to fatten it up through the miss still is lean accoring to 02 sensor. Do I need or can I send ECU back to see if everything is working properly?

Using MSD SYSTEM, hall sensor in distibutor. Already checked magnets and air gap. Same in both engines.
