I have been in the process of switching my em4f over from a 3 bar to a 1 bar map sensor. The car runs fine on the 3 bar but when i switch the 1 bar in and change the sds over by shorting the 2 pins in the hall sensor plug it will not start. I have tried 2 different one bar sensors one brand new from gm and the other a known good one out of a sunfire. I have tried starter fluid and it will run on the fluid for a few seconds. I have checked the ignition and it is firing. I am also getting fuel pressure. If anyone has a idea it would be a lifesaver. Btw it is a 85 corolla with a silvertop 20v 4age.thanks

Jeff

I DON'T KNOW WHAT SYSTEM YOU HAVE, WHEN I CHANGE FROM 1 BAR TO 2 BAR I HAD TO CHANGE A DIP SWITCH INSIDE OF COMPUTOR.
