i just used the manual that came with the system and added an exhaust temp gauge, oil and water gauge, and the rest of the information can be found on the display box. engine temp, duty cycle, manifold pressure,and as for the timing you will need a timing lite to set the magnet position and verify the true timing settings.i set mine up and it runs fantastic.
