I was just wondering if you could help me with what kind of protocol the SDS EM4-F uses to communicate with the display box. I'm interested in making a datalogging software that can reccord the data that is normally on the display.

Any insight on this?

I think it's proprietary. I'd call them and ask.

I've been waiting for this along time. Datalogging is the key to fine tuning. For now I'm using the Innovate LC-1 with AUX box for logging but is not accurate. Innovate should have solved this issue before releasing the AUX box.

I have asked, and I have not gotten much Info/Help, I have not made any progress either as I havent really messed with my car at all and life is busy.

I know its similar to SPI protocol, but different.

I am currently using Innovate products, LC-1 and LMA3(auxbox) and I find it very accurate and very nice software. I was basically going to see if i could remove the SDS display and read the data from that into LW instead of buying another innovate device. Price wise its easier/cheaper to get another Innovate device and prob what I will do as no one is forthcoming with information from SDS.

If your having issues, its likely that you need to configure it so it reads the sensor data correctly
