Yes, vampires are real, I am one. Yes a human can be turned but, I will not do it. I was human once and, I chose to be turned. Not out of hoplessness or despair but, out of love. It's a long story but, suffice to say the one who made me was extremely reluctant to do so and it only happened at all because of the deep bonds we shared even when I was a human as normal as you. We are still together, always will be and niether of us will turn another.

Lets just say, there are different places a human soul will go when its host body seices to exist.
Here's the thing about immortality: People will go to great lengths to be immortal. Many believe that being immortal means you will live forever. That is far from the truth. Immortality is just a way to prolong life. You can live longer than a human (a lot longer) but, an immortal can and will die.
Many people have this fantasy about vampires. Immortality, the biggest draw. Why, because they believe they will live forever. Power, another big draw. Why, that's obvious. What people don't realise: Power only depends on the age of the Vampire, the breed of Vampire etc,etc. The majority of vampires do not have the ability to infect anyone!!
The majority of the vampires (not all) are just plain gluttons. They will do anything and say anything to get blood: the taste of it, to take a life: the feel of it.
Vampires who do have that rare ability are less likely to infect anyone. Your hopes of being turned are next to none.
If you aren't born with the gift in your blood, chances are you will never find what you seek.

As for Christ, my friend Demonosia merely mentioned Christ's death. She made no allusions to knowledge of Christ being a part of God, even if there is such an entity. Christ was a very real person, and he did die for his faith.
And again, you see, that you shouldn't believe everything you hear.
Or assume other things because of someone else's hints, such as the existence of heaven and hell just because of someone's experience and word.
A touchy subject, I know, and I want you not to take it personally at all, as these are my beliefs from my own logic and reasoning. I only wanted to make my point clearer.

All good points Lil. You missed only one, the biggest. What is one to do when you finally realize there is realy no purpose to your exsistance except that which you devise within yourself? Can you realy keep inventing reasons to go on indefinitely? I'm not telling you it can't be done, there are those who manage it as I do but consider, how many times can you realy reinvent yourself. Inevitably, you become a serious case of "been there, seen that, done that" and i all becomes mundane and borring.

I have the "utmost respect" for your rare combination of courage and upfront honesty! I too, spoke out against common egregiously wrongful vampire community practices. All the board moderators scoffed at me for suggesting they post a notice on their boards to request a minimum age of twenty-one years, in order to protect children. They ridiculed me for suggesting a fun and organized vampire themed youth organization, similar to the Boy Scouts, in order to keep vampire youth from Satanic and similar based trouble. They ridiculed me for suggesting they post direct warnings about the dangers of deadly blood and saliva-borne diseases such as HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis A, B, and C. They really attacked me (armed with vicious lies about my sexuality), and reasons for posting on vampire boards, when I provided links to medical sites about blood and saliva borne diseases, on their boards.
The attacks for my public safety minded posts continued relentlessly and without mercy for many years. That was in spite of the fact that they kept me from posting on most vampire boards through lockout style software anyway! They used very powerful spy ware to follow me to every vampire board, as well as to every other type of board where I posted. It did not matter if the board had nothing to do with vampires, other preternatural creatures, or the occult in any way! They found my posts, even when I used pseudonyms; posted no e-mail address; and the board did not display IP numbers! They went as far as to make a master list of scores of my most private and embarrassing posts that I meant "only" for adult boards. That list hot linked every embarrassing adult board post I ever made, which included my name; and/or my e-mail address; and/or my physical description, or just my IP number.
Wherever I went, they incorporated the list into a post, which included a viciously false introductory warning about it all being evidence that points to me being a very possible online gay child predator! None of my adult posts ever had anything to do with minors. Many of them insisted upon anyone who answers being at least twenty-one, and I always gave a list of stats that never failed to include my age. The vampire scumbags who came after me did not show those posts! The two people who assaulted me the most call themselves SayMyName and Dark Lord. SayMyName is in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dark Lord works at Comcast headquarters in New Jersey.

Vampires are born, not made. You either are one of us or you aren't. Even if turning were possible, I wouldn't. Being a vampire isn't at all like books and movies say it is. We are not immortal, cannot fly, shape shift or do any of the other things you see in movies.
We live normal lives with jobs, families, bills, etc.. We need to feed on energy from other people, either by taking blood or by psy feeding directly on that energy. When we don't have a donor, we are forced to rely on substitutes.
Why would you want to spend the better part of your life starving for something so few are willing to give you?
I have a donor, but thank you for the offer. I know many, especially younger vampire do not have a donor. Good donors are difficult to find. It isn't simply a matter of being willing to feed a vampire, you need to be suitable as well.
For any vampire, psy, sanguinarian, elemental, sexual etc.. you must be willing and able to allow us to feed in the way we require. You need to be healthy and free of drug or alcohol addictions and chronic illness.
For psy vampires, you also should not have any major emotional issues you are dealing with and should not be over stressed when you allow us to feed.
For sanguinarians, you must be free of blood born illness, not anemic not have hepatitis, HIV and the like.
there is more to being a donor than just letting some one drink from you.you should both be tested
you need to have agreements to when how how much and you need to ask yourself why do i want to do this is it because of what i see in the movies or read about plus is this person really a vampire or just into blood fetish and how far are you willing to go with your bloodletting..thing and research first than decide later not vice versa

the vampire is a bloodsucking being...or... a state of mind...I consider myself a vampire even though i'm noi immortal or i don't fera the sunlight (even though i hate it) I don't dronk blood to keep me alive (well occasionaly my own or my lovers..hihihi), is just the way u look at it i guess, maybe i'm just a wannabe vampires, but it doesn't matter anyways i love the idea of vampires existing..
