Various Macs can be bought for quite reasonable prices. Several PC magazines have noted that when you add up the included items on the Mac and then go to PC machines, the cost is within 5 %.

Yes there are PC programs that do not work or have a counterpart on the Mac so I use my Intel machine to run XP Pro and these programs - cost to me = the program and Windows XP Pro. It takes at least 20 seconds to switch from the Mac Os to the Windows OS. Not exactly a major hardship.

Don't switch. Buy an Intel Mac and use your current Windows system and in the future buy a couple of Mac programs and have some fun or not.

Hope all are having a grand and jolly New Year.

Cheers,

Dave S
