Announcing the annual Black River Falls RTE for 2008. Once again I am iniviting folks to join me at the Majestic Pines Casino for a buffet lunch on May 10th. Arrival is 1100, with lunch @1130.

Black River Falls is located in the middle of Wisconsin, on I-94. The casino is 4 miles east of BRF, on WI Hwy 54. Easy to get to from everywhere.

I'm hoping to see many familiar faces there. Critter has already had words for me for scheduling when he has finals for which to study.

but I swore off BRF ever since that weekend in jail... so long ago.

I plan on leaving home in Bloomington next Saturday around 0800. I am meeting with some other riders at a gas station on the south side of I-94 at the first exit in WI. We will be leaving there around 0830.

Let me just say the trooper warned us more than once.

Sorry I missed the RTE. I had to ride down to Indiana to get some business taken care of. Maybe next year. I hope everyone had a good time. Looks like the weather was pretty good compared to years past.

While the crowd was small this year, we still have a good time. Mike Senty and Derek Dickson were a couple of the Stangers who showed up. Several IBR vets also, so we got some good stories. Participants in the BL4 also had stories, and compared notes again. And since many of us have participated in many TS events, we really had a good time.
Mike reported he only got a little mist on the way home, didn't even get his gloves wet. I headed over to Rudolph, WI to my favorite cheese shop for some fresh cheese curds. Ran into some rain on the way back, but nothing serious.
All in all, it was a good day.
