Mike and Robert ditched the wing pretty quick if memory serves (Mike's only success with wings has come from his sprint car!). I think for them it turned out to be more of an eye catcher than a performance enhancer. Just my opinion but I don't recall any boats running a wing in the stock classes being that much better than those without. That's not saying some didn't get wings to work but it seems to me with a wing like the Slippery had you would need extra hp.
