I totally echo Zak's sentiments above re: Bomb attacks in Spain. I would further add that I can personally see no end in the spiralling violence, until Governments around the world collectively realise that the current formula of counter violence will do nothing except breed further anger amongst certain communities creating an evermore fertile envionment from which more terrorists will emerge.

I don't have the answers to such complex problems - however, my own limited intelligence is telling me that I just cannot see our encumbent goverments around the world solving this one any time soon.

This is a remarkably sad state of affairs, I just hope we reach a turning point for the sake of mankind.

My feelings exactly-there is no simple answer-but now I truly believe that one day we will all be at peace.It is hard to see that,when so much horror is continually taking place all around the world.That great lesson of learning to love each other is more meaningful at this time than ever before.To Zak,Spain is a country I have loved all my life and I was appalled at this atrocity,I always think of it as my second home after England that also has terrorist problems.Two gentle countries,here in the states too.As these attacks get worse,it feels like it is building up to a great change in the world.When the dust clears after this change,I feel there will be a great awakening.I wish that whoever perpetrated these attacks,removes hate from their minds and replaces it with Peace.

Zak-how would you eradicate these people,because as you say this is cancer cells throughout the world.Not just terrorists but anyone who kills anything human or animal.
