If you haven't read "A Cats Diary" I highly suggest that book. Its Stephen Hannan's (original Bway Bustopher/Gus/Growltiger) diary he kept about the opening of the show. He released it when Cats closed on Broadway.
I've always liked journals and thats exactly what it is. He talks about all the work that went into making the show, and about his relationships with original cast members (particurarly Timothy Scott, whom I've always found interesting). It shows him as a real person with real struggles...really gives fans a peak into what theatre life really is. Its not really glamorous at all, which I think the book points out. Anyway, I fell in love with the book. Its an easy read, and I've read it several times and gave a copy to a friend for Christmas.
I need to read this other book. I knew about it but never got around to reading it.
