I went to a local production of Cats last Tuesday and enjoyed it tremendously!! The costumes werent as elaborate but the dancers really interacted with the audience. In fact I was front row centre and Tugger jumped into my lap and gave me a big kitty kissed. I darned near died!!!
Sure made my whole day.

Yes it was done in a small theater close to home. The costumes and stage props weren't as elaborate as the Tour Cats, but the characters made up for it by interacting more with the audience.
And Tugger was as sexy as the DVD cat
