One of my precious kitties died today. Stretchy had been sick with a virus and was not able to recover from it. He had been infected years ago with Feline Luekemia from another kitty. We thought he had overcome that since it was so long ago and he'd been sick before and had gotten better. Sadly, we learned this was not the case as this virus was so strong that his immune system could not overcome it. Stretchy was 11 yrs. old and he had a wonderful life. I am very blessed and honored to have had him in my life. He was such a sweet little kitty and I will miss him terribly. He will forever be in my heart.

How ironic that I just took my cat, Ember to a vet today for her yearly shots, one of them was for feline leukemia. She's 8 years old now, and is a very queenly white cat that rules my home.

Take your time to heal from losing your fave cat.... **hugs**

Im sorry. I know the felling my late cat Dody ran away for two months then came back for a day, then went away forever. ): she was 13 and I miss her but she was a great cat.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. No matter what people do or say to help, you really have to heal on your own. My girls Amber and Ute passed away one year after the other and I still can't listen to Memory without crying like a big baby. Awfully embarrassing at Cats shows I'll admit.

Take all the time you need and take care. Consider getting an SPCA kitten in the future, knowing that you saved a life may help the pain.
