I hope everyone's holiday goes well!

What was the favorite gift that you gave someone else this year?

Merry Christmas to you!

December 25 2004, 6:32 PM

Our family makes use of the "Angel Tree" and on-line resources to help give a deserving child or family a Christmas they might not otherwise have. Our family has everything that we need, and every Christmas it would always be "now what can I get Mom or brother or sister that they don't already have". One Christmas, my sister picked a name off a local "Angel Tree" and wound up giving a very grateful child a nice Christmas! Mom tried it next, and it kind of spread throughout the family. Now it's become an annual tradition. It's a good feeling to know that in some small way, we can help give someone else a happy Holiday! Each of us remembers the thrill of opening gifts on Christmas Day..how special we all felt, knowing that the gifts were given with love. We think every child deserves to have that same feeling, especially at Christmas

Hey.......

Paul,

We have it in my husband's church (he's a priest)....they called it "Adopt An Angel".

My angel is a two-year-old little girl named Alicia.
I don't how she looks but I feel I love her alrady...

It always give you a peace of mind when you send your love to whoever's in need. And tears in your heart when you think of the lonely ones.

Peace to you all !

Best wishes,
Selina

Hi Selina!

..and Happy Holidays to you and your family

It IS a nice feeling to know that you can help give a child someting they'll cherish for a lifetime...the memory of a nice Christmas! Hopefully one day as they grow into adulthood, they'll continue to add a few links to the "chain of love" by doing the same for someone else
