Hey Keith,

Someone posted the following on another board:
"The brodway cast also thought that Plato might be her son because of costume simmilarities when shes in it at the beginning"

I know you weren't told much when you came to the Broadway cast, but do you recall hearing anything about this? I've never heard this theory before.

Who's son are you thinking Plato might be? I can honestly say that I was never given any background on the character of Plato when I got to Broadway. I was given some background when I did it in Germany, but the only thing I really remember about Plato was that I was told that he was in his 20's but still wanted to hang out with the teenagers and act like them. No real ambition to grow up and act like an adult. I wish I could elaborate more about the character, but no one ever really gave me anything to go on. I kind of went with how I'd act depending on the scenes I was in and what I was doing in them.

Oops. I guess I kinda left off a bit of information there. Grizabella's son. Personally, I've always thought of him as not related to anybody.
