With a tradition going back to 1846, Ulysse Nardin nearly became a victim of the Swiss watch industry's large crisis in the 80s. Saved from bankruptcy by the businessman Rolf Schnyder, the company began its steep rise straight into the zenith of modern horology. Today, Ulysse Nardin is dedicated to innovation: No other watch company has filed so many patents with so few employees. Success is the just reward, with company rolls now at over 100 employees and growing! Besides innovation, however, Ulysse Nardin does not stop presenting us classical watchmaking craftsmanship at the highest levels. This forum should serve for the discussion of Ulysse Nardin's history, present and future, and for the exchange of information at a level worthy to the PuristS' principles of quality.
