Jeffrey Eugenides won the Pulitzer for this one.

This is a story of Greek-American culture, genetics, nature and nurture (and what happens when they collide).

It tells the story of 3 generations of a Greek family, the Stephanides; and of Calliope Stephanides, by all outward appearances a girl until puberty hits and Calliope's body changes in some very unexpected ways.

Though it took me a long time to get through it, this book is an interesting read. I like Eugenides' style, it's easy and humorous.

Anyone else read it?
