Meningitis

by Aaron Hadley, EMT

Basically, anything that causes increased pressure on the brain, or causes brain tissue to swell or become irritated, can result in seizures. Meningitis being an infection of the meninges, or the covering tissues of the brain, could cause them or anything that raises the pressure inside the skull, be it fluid, injury or whatever. Glad you made it OK when you were sick!
