Do the tones still sound the same today, as they did back then? Our firemen in Little Rock, have different tones, that sound like a touch-tone phone dial, and then the tone. I have visited Station 12, and sometimes, they'd get a run when I was there. I'd leave, not totally, but I'd step to the side, and see them off to their run, then I'd leave. I once called in T.A alarm, when there was a T.A just outside my apartment window at Tanglewood. I couldn't help the lady, she was to whiny, so I backed off, and let the FD help the victim. I would've just been in the way.
I wished I could've done more, but I didn't have my first-aid kit with me.
