Microleague Baseball General Manager / Owner Disk Doesn't Work

Whenever I play Microleague Baseball, I run into the same problem. The problem is trying to activate the general manager's/owner's disk. When I want to load a team from the gm disk into the main game it always comes up error. Any ideas?
The Microleague Baseball GMO disk does not work. It runs and looks like it will work, but then the screen fills with what looks like zero's mixed with
8's. And that's when it freezes.
