of the two versions on Stadium64 (which is an excellent site by the way), the one which which crashed was the regular Football Manager 3 file. It's cracked by Empire and Success, and appears to be American, with references to "offense" and "centerpass" and "lineside throw", which were fine once I'd got used to them. At the end of my first season, I won the divison 3 and got a memo saying "congratulations! you won the fuckin game!", and this was followed by a memo which gives details of who won what leagues that season. This is what crashed the game: the display corrupted, and after limping on through a corrupted display for a couple more (in game) days, it crashed altogether.
the other version on your site, which I also found at Arnolds, was cracked by RSI and is in the same file as Football Manager 1+2 (Fman123.zip). This is the one which appears to be translated from German, thursday is listed as "di" in the diary and a lot of the text is corrupted in places. The whole things gives the impression of not working very well.
I've tried searching the internet etc but no success which is why I turn to you!
