The first thing you should do, is to download the latest version of Vice (1.2). I use WinVice1.2, so here comes a little explenation. If you play a game with several parts: Some games doesn´t work if you haven´t chose the "True Drive Emulation"-setting under "Options". To change to another disk, click on "File" and then "Attach Disk Image" and Drive 8, and search for the *.d64-image you want!

Downhill Challenge were released in US by Bröderbund. My question to you is: Is this game the same as "Eddie Edwards Super Ski" released in Europe by Microids?
/Martin.
It´s the most requested game at STADIUM 64 and the game have a lot of extra expansion disks. The only version I have is a poor frozen version.
Following disks is missing:
The Main Game Disk
General Managers/Owners Disk
Box Score/Stat compiler disk
Microleague Baseball 2 Enh.
1985 Teams-Microleague Baseball
1986 Teams-Microleague Baseball
1987 Teams-Microleague Baseball
1988 Teams-Microleague Baseball
1989 Teams-Microleague Baseball
and maybe more?
I recently got Expansion Disk Vol.2 for WWF Microleague Wrestling (you need to boot the original Microleague wrestling disk first before using this disk). It´s on two disk-images. The first one is: 'Hulk Hogan VS. "The Million Dollar
Man" Ted Dibiase' and the second one is: 'Jake "The Snake" Roberts VS. "Ravishing" Rick Rude.
But there was also an Expansion disk#1, and that´s missing. Is there any out there who have this one? On it is supposed to have 'Macho Man Randy Savage VS. Honky Tonk Man' and 'King Harley Race VS. Hacksaw Jim Duggan'.
And was there more expansion disks released for WWF Microleague Wrestling?
Expansion Disk Vol.2 for WWF Microleague Wrestling will soon be available for download on STADIUM 64.
I think that the "Game Of The Month" on both STADIUM 64 and SHOOT! is really kewl! But where is the endscreen of Delta? It´s missing or have I missed it? And one more thing: Where have you found the Winter Games-pic you´re using on your mainpage? It´s not included in the downloadable image. Maybe you´ve painted it yourself? It looks very Commodore 64!
Thank you! I forgot to add the endscreens of Delta, I will update it soon. The picture of Winter Games you´re asking about is from the movie sequence from another of Epyx games: The Movie Monster Game.
If you don't want to spend money, I'd prefer VICE, because you can save your highscores there (e. g. in Winter Games). CCS64 is equal, but you have to pay for it, if you want to save anything.
Both emulators work great under Windows (for me). Don't use the Windows ports of them. They aren't as good as the DOS-Emulators (IMHO).
You use *.g64-files exactly the same as *.d64-files. BUT there isn´t to many emulators that support this extension. The latest version of CCS64beta2.0 and Vice support it and maybe some more.
The .G64 file format can be compared to a D64 in the same way that TAP files compare to T64s. It stores extra information found on 'real' 1541 disks that aren't present in D64s. Like TAPs, this bloats the image size somewhat, but the benefit is that you have a better representation of the true media (and you might be able to run special fast loaders on them as well as some forms of copy protection, if you have the means to copy the disks into that format).
In my very own opinion, I prefer to play most of the games in the Epyx "Games"-series. World Games, Winter Games and California Games are still very playable and cool. And know I found, I Play 3D Tennis on this excellent C64-site! It´s a really cool Tennis-game and it´s saveable too!
Hi, I just downloaded California Games from here. I unzipped it and found the following files in it:
CaliforniaGamesA.t64 and CaliforniaGamesB.d64
I know that this game covered about 3 disks on my original C=64. When I try to start the tape, it always shows "searching for *" and "found california games" but never loads it. When I press any key at this time, the message repeats. Of course I tried loading from disk also, but this doesn't work either.
No, California Games 2 was never released to Commodore 64. Maybe there was a early preview to this game on C64. But there wasn´t more than that. Damn, I think it would have been a great game to C64.
