What? You cannot be serious! You cant steal someone elses music! that is such a clique thing to say!
So someone who wears different clothes to you is listening to rock/metal/EBM/industrial? Whats the problem?
Funny thing is, you are probably someone who complains about the narrow-mindedness of "normal" people towards goths, and yet here you are telling others that if someone who decides to dress conventionally instead of alternatively listens to goth-orientated music, then they're stealing it? what the hell are you?
I find that this is a big problem in goth-land. I love industrial music, and have been listening to rock/metal since before i can remember; but because i dont usually move in the goth circles, i am shunnned by them because i happen to have UV glow piercings instead of metal and they dont know me. What the fux that all about? I mean, for god sake, you see someone in your favourite club/pub that you've never seen before, and they look into vaguely what you're into, wouldnt you make an effort to respond when they walked past and smiled? Or is it BECAUSE i smile at random people? Is that breaking some goth code of conduct? I get looked at like Im a freak by the very people that complain about being branded freaks, and i dont even look any different from them? The only reason none of these so-called 'open-minded individuals' dont acknowledge my existence is because, cue league of gentlemen, "I'm not local"
I find it fukkin hilarious to tell you the truth.
So if there are any of you cooler-than-thou goths out there, (and I'm not generalising because i know plenty of lovely goths too, okay, before i get hit with that one) get a fukkin grip. You are behaving EXACTLY like the societal people you try so hard to distance yourself from and who "don't understand you"
And youre NOT bloody immortal, okay?
