I thought it was Sweden???

Isn't it Sweden that does "those" operations? Or have the Scots also got into doing weird things under those kilties? Big OUCH!!!!!!! Oh well, you'll always be Big D. to me.

Thanx for the info about myspace, Z., but as I've said before I'm not a very techy person and I honestly wouldn't know what to do with a website. I rarely have time to even checkout other websites--I mean doesn't it seem like everyone and their dog has a website? Lately I barely have time to even keep up with a few email friends and to check back here from time to time. I'm happy you're keeping this forum so at least if I don't see you on the other side I can still contact you on this side of the other side.

One of the things I've been up to lately was to have a big garage sale! I actually never go to garage sales (don't like to be up that early on a Saturday morning!) but I know a lot of people love them. It was a lot of work clearing closets and cupboards, organizing and pricing stuff but worth it in the end, I guess. I cleared about $500 (which I've spent already of course) but I was totally wiped out for about three days afterward. What I hadn't realized was that a lot of people steal things at garage sales. Maybe I'm too honest or too naive or something but it simply had never occurred to me that people would steal things marked at 50 cents or a dollar! I discovered several ways these thefts are accomplished:- one woman simply stuffed a cushion under her jacket while her friend bought something from me; one man brought his five kids who all made out like bandits while he occupied me with a small purchase; another woman bought a picnic cooler from me and then tried to slip two coffee mugs (from my friend's table) into the cooler; another came with things in both hands--she paid for the stuff in one hand and told me she'd paid my friend for the other stuff--my friend had just gone in the house for a washroom break and of course when she came back the woman was gone; another guy bought some small items which I put in a bag for him. The next customer told me the guy with the bag had gone back down the driveway and stuffed some things into the bag! Anyway so much for garage sales and human nature. The other side of it is that there were also a lot of nice, honest people and I was happy that certain things went to a good home.

Talk to you again soon y'all. Cheers, night
