First thing first, I, by no means, want this to come across as rude or demeaning, and if it does so, I ask you to forgive me.
My question is about contracts in a BD/SM relationship. Why do they exist, since from what I have read, they simply state on paper the things that should be common place knowledge and actions within any given relationship, vanilla or not.
The main reason that I am asking is that I am in the process of trying to negotiate a couple of contracts so that I can finally open my own place of business, but every single time that the word 'contract' is spoken, I keep getting a mental flashback to this forum.
I've always thought that a contract is something that is reserved for business relations and ventures.
Honestly, I'm asking because I simply don't understand the concept, and if someone could show me a contract drawn up for a D/s relationship, I would greatly appreciate the effort.
