that's it exactly....BDSM is Bondage, Discipline, Domination, Submission, Sadism, Masochism...no where in any of that does the word "consentual" appear.....BDSM is not about consenting....the concept of willingness (hence, the word "consentual") only exists and has validity because of how people choose to apply it...it was born from the idea of the "lifestyle" but not from the foundations of BDSM....consentuality comes into play as people interpret the basic founding ideas of BDSM and apply them to their lives, but not actually from any part of BDSM, merely from the interpretation and application of it
