The weekly discussion topics have been sadly defunct, a fact which I regret. A lot has changed, but my hopes for this place stay the same. I no longer think that any ruling council would work. I'm just going to lay claim to Velvet Voices as a message board intended for BDSM discussion and leave it at the fact that I and I alone am the moderator, and will strive to keep the postings on topic and the board one that anyone would feel welcome to visit.
Also, this board is meant to be a supplement to a chat room at www.chathouse.com on the Wild West Wing entitled The Velvet Glove (or the room be a supplement to the board) where we might occasionally hold discussion evenings.
That being said...this week's discussion topic is an essay entitled "Where is the Sex?" by Mistress Steel.
