to make the slot smaller. A piece of electrical or black duct tape to start with. A small slit in a piece of plastic and glued on may werq also. Or put some JB weld in the slot to fill the edges with a small piece of something the right size in the middle for your sight slot. Might want to have some oil on it so the JB won't stick. There are many ways to do things. This werqed for me.
