Hi:

I have just tried to ZTM a 10k universe inpsychirealm game c and it seems that after completing the 1-10000 and 10000-1 and the map-one ways that I still get false dead end sectors.

Is there something that I am missing, is there other documentation that i need to read?

Thanks,

Scott Tobman

You are not missing anything.
ZTM is a map. and the map is only as good as the data.
lets say that sector 50 warps to 100, 200 and 300
The ZTM paths found while ZTM'ing MIGHT expose 50->100, 50->200, and 50->300 and it also MIGHT NOT.
It is chance. ZTM is NEVER a complete picture of the universe.

Example:
If ATTAC finds a bubble, unless you set and avoid at the mouth to test that it is a real bubble, you might find while exploring the rest of the universe, that there is a back door into your bubble

The only way to get 100% accurate results, is thru CIM. When you explore 100% of the universe, you then have a complete picture.

Earth is right about this .. It's not the mappers fault
the fastest mapping is usually to plot from 1 -> max then from max -> 1 .. This is not the most accurate map but it does okay.. I would venture to write my own map but have not had the time to do so .. If anyone out there writes a good mapping program then let me know .. I would be particularly intersted in one that would set multiple voids along known space lanes to increase the map length as it plots ..
