I can't get 4.1.8 to run any scripts. CIM I get errors saying incorrect universe size?
Port buy down tells me invalid sector?
Auto explore tells me invalid start sector?

I tried to reinstall the previous version and it says unregistered and when I enter the registeration codes it does nothing?

OK. here are the steps to take:

1. backup the reg.txt file.
2. delete ALL games in attac. click on game, click delete.
3. delete the attac directory complete
4. reinstall attac
5. copy the reg.txt file to the datafiles directory under attac.
6. start attac.
7. make sure to create the game properly. it sounds like it is not created.

that should fix it. either the download was corrupted or some datafiles are unhappy moving to the new version.

That did help some but now when I go to buy down a port - it hangs.
Where the planet number should be I get ORE instead?

did you back up the reg.txt file? if so for 4.1.7, put it in the same directory as attac.exe
